What is your role at New Victoria Hospital?

I’m the Human Resources Director and, with the support of my amazing HR team, I’m responsible for the overall people and culture agenda at the Hospital, including talent acquisition, development & education, reward & benefits, EDI, employee relations, and workforce planning.

Why did you Join New Victoria Hospital?

I’ve always worked for larger private healthcare organisations, and I wanted the opportunity to work at one of the few remaining independent charity-owned Hospitals left in the Country, where I could make a real impact on the people and culture.

How long have you been with New Victoria Hospital?

I started with the Hospital in January 2023 having previously worked in other private healthcare hospital groups in and around London for the last 15 years, including Nuffield Health, Aspen Healthcare, and HCA International.

What is your favourite part of your job?

This is a difficult question, as I like everything about my job! However, properly my favourite part about working within healthcare is seeing the work I do shaping the people culture having a direct positive impact on patient care.

What makes you most proud of your job?

Working at a Hospital with strong values, heritage, and history of charitable works with the local community.
